I'm a farmer!
Well... not really. One day, I noticed the weeds by one of my trees were getting hellaciously bad. I decided to go yank them out. On my way out there, one of the weeds looked a little odd to me. I looked a little closer and discovered it was just about the coolest weed I've ever seen.
I never even planted corn this year. And, I still don't know how it got there. The picture was taken after the other weeds were cleared out. Although, you probably already knew that!

I don't know what you call wild-corn but it does show up in the oddest places.

It was just funny how it showed up like that. My neighbor behind me had a stalk show up too. A lot of the fields around here are around 8 foot here. So much for 'knee high by the fourth of July' huh?
As long as it isn't skunk weed. ;)
