August 28th - Buy Ammo Day!

Don't forget that this Tuesday, August 28th, is Buy Ammo day!

Why buy ammo you ask?

Do you need a reason I ask?

Just as I figured... no reason needed.

Don't have a gun? Buy ammo for a friend in need. Maybe keep a couple rounds for yourself, even just to display. Carry a couple .45 rounds in your pocket. That way, hippies and gun grabbers will know to fear you when you're going through your change to buy a soda.

You could even buy a brick of ammo, and then use THAT as an excuse to buy that gun you've always wanted.

Happy shooting everybody!

Truisms from Ronald Reagan

"Here is my strategy on the Cold War: We win, they lose."

"The most terrifying words in the English language are: I'm from the government and I'm here to help."

"The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they're ignorant. It's just that they know so much that isn't so."

"Of the four wars in my lifetime, none came about because the US was too strong."

"I have wondered at times about what the Ten Commandments would have looked like if Moses had run them through the US Congress."

"The Taxpayer: That is someone who works for the federal government but doesn't have to take the civil service examination."

"Government is like a baby: An alimentary canal with a big appetite at one end and no sense of responsibility at the other."

"The nearest thing to eternal life we will ever see on this earth is a government program."

"It has been said that politics is the second oldest profession. I have learned that it bears a striking resemblance to the first."

"Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it."

"No arsenal, or no weapon in the arsenals of the world, is so formidible as the will and moral courage of free men and women."

"If we ever forget that we're a one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under."

Take this job and shove it!

Jimmy is right. I need to post something. I've been meaning to for a while. But here's the latest... This was written up about two weeks ago.

So, it's settled. I have my new job officially, starting Monday on 2nd shift. I was pretty much in since my interview on Monday when the drug screening / physical was set up. As soon as I was scheduled for drug screening, I quit my stinking job. Walked in late from lunch, and handed over the news, grabbed my tools and got the hell out! I've been happy all week just leaving that place with the jackass of a foreman for a supervisor. My lower back, shoulder, wrist, hands have been happier, too. (That is IF they can be happy) The new job will be MUCH better than this one. Even the environment felt better.

And, now, with free mornings combined with the internets and all of it's magical powers, I will be starting classes this fall. More on the school in the near future. The one thing I do know is that I'll be going for Engineering. I still have to figure out which discipline of Engineering. (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical...)
